JANUARY 2010 SNOW STORM!!!!!!

In December of 2008 we were at Clints Wells for christmas and there was a little bit of snow... this is how we moved it.
In January 2010, only 13 months later, there was some snow. This is the front yard after the first few days.
With this much snow, part of it being rain,
we changed equipment.
This is what was used this year for snow removal.
The day after the storm in the front yard.
How high can you stack it? This is the question we were asking ouselves.
In the back yard you can see the stack on the shed. This is after it was packed a day or two.
Forcasters say we got close to 5 feet of snow total-the most we've seen since living here.
And yes, I still love the snow. I got up at 3:30 or 4 every morning just to get stuff done before I headed to work!

Happy New Year!

Well, it's a new year and we started it off with lot's of fun! For Family Home Evening we went night sledding. Sara got everyone together and told us of a fun sledding spot-we had a blast, especially the kids. My three kids have No Fear-they are crazy! The hill was so icy that the kids didn't even need a sled they just slid on their snow pants.

Easten would go so fast! Especially when his dad gave him an extra push!

Uncle Josh taking as many kids as could fit for one last ride.

Rhett is now 7 mo. old and decided it was time to start crawling. He learned it just in time for Christmas. The tree and the ornaments just looked like too much fun to play with so he had to figure out how to get to them. We ended up taking the Christmas tree down a few days early because he was getting too quick.
